Citing your Sources!

Every student must submit an MLA formatted "Works Cited" page for their Genius Hour research.

Your assignment will be considered "incomplete" until this is submitted.

Citations are ways that we document our sources. By "citing our sources" we are giving credit to the authors we're quoting or getting our ideas from. Works Cited, Bibliographies, quotations and footnotes are all types of citations.

Please ensure that you have a list that contains a minimum of 10 different citations (push yourself, try to include 2-5 non-digital sources).

To accurately create an MLA Works Cited page - use reference websites like:

The following picture is how an MLA formatted Works Cited looks...

*Why is this important?

At universities and colleges formats like "MLA" are recognized as standard.
